Riley's Birtday

Last month we celebrated two big events. Riley turning 7 and Terry finishing his National Board's Project. Which happened on the same day. After the whole ordeal of Terry's project, I realized how blessed are family is. I know that the only way Terry was able to do his project was through many blessing from our Savior. Thanks to all who prayed for him. It was an arduous process. I am so grateful that trial in our life is over. I am also so grateful for the lesson learned and blessings granted.
My little boy is not not so little anymore, of coarse he started life as a big boy anyways.
He proved how big he is by how patient he was with his father during the long months of Terry being gone while he worked on his National Boards. Especially how patient he was on his birthday while he waited for daddy to come home so he could open his presents.

Here is a picture of Riley on the day he was born. He was 9Ibs 15 0z

Here is a picture of him a few days before his birthday.
For his Birthday day we celebrated first at his school the Friday before. I took in some cupcakes and ice cream and he got to be the child of the week.

Riley and his teacher

Terry and I started a tradition when we got married to serve breakfast in bed to each other on special occasions. This year Riley announced that he wanted breakfast in his bed for his birthday.

Riley asked for this Star Wars Lego ship a hundred times before his birthday. This was pretty much his birthday, because it was such a big present.

Here are all the Lego pieces lad out. It took us a while to get it together.
