We had a wonderful Easter. How I wish I could have been with all of my loved ones for Easter, but I am grateful that I was able to celebrate with my husband and two beautiful children. It was wonderful to have General Confernce on Easter. I throughly enjoyed conference. All the talks were wonderful. I loved Elder Cook's comment of going to the higher ground of safety, and avoiding the lower pathways of danger. As always I loved Elder Uchtorf"s talked, and how we our the hands of the Lord. There were lots of wonderful talks on the family and how we can be better parents.
My kids enjoyed the many activities of Easter. They were very excited to color eggs. Abbie slept with the box of dye the night before we colored eggs, and wouldn't put the box down until we were ready. They got lots of candy. Which mom and dad have enjoyed as well.
While we were setting up the Easter egg hunt outside, Riley was being a secret agent. Abbie decided that she needed to be one as well. Riley took his glassed off before he went outside.
Get Ready, Get Set, GO!
Abbie in her Easter dress. Sorry you can't see much off it because of her poncho.
Riley had so many eggs in his basket they kept falling out. Than Abbie would come behind him and put them in her basket.

Legos, Legos, and more Legos!
My son is obsessed with Legos. We have them all over the house. I can't tell you how many times I have asked him not to put his Legos on the sofa, or to clean up his Legos because they are every where. He loves to go onto Lego.com and play games and look at all of the available sets. While he was on Lego.com, he noticed they have new Lego board games. Ever since, that is all he can talk about. He had been making up his own Lego board games and we have been playing them. He likes to take pictures of the games he has invented so he can remember how to put them back together. Here is just a few of the games we have been playing lately.
This is a picture of Riley after they had pictures taken at school. He was sad because I didn't order any. This was the second time they had pictures taken, and since I had already purchased school pictures of him earlier in the school year, I didn't get any this time. Riley was sad, so I took a picture of him at home.
Bigger Brothers
Guitar
When I was walking Riley to the bus during the winter, a lady walked pasted us with a little toy guitar. The next thing I knew she turned around and asked us if we wanted to have the guitar. She was taking it to work to give away to whoever wanted it anyways. My kids were so excited, because I had just started taking guitar lesson myself, and now they could play along with me. Here is a picture and video of Abbie with the guitar.
